Sure, there are stories of the Porsche lasting 100k miles, but those stories seem to be pretty elusive. Everyone has heard them, but no one on here saying "I have 165,000 miles on my Boxster"

On the contrary, get on a BMW forum and you will hear plenty of first-hand stories of 325is and 320is with 400k miles on them.

So maybe it's not fair to compare a 1982 320i to a 1998 Boxster, but does anyone even know of stories of older Porsches -- 944, 928, 914, with 200, 300, 400k miles on them?
