aruond here 87 octane is 3.04 a gallon--93 octane is 3.24 a gallon--I figure thats three dollars and twenty cents a tank extra to run the hi octane--if you can't afford that, get rid of the Boxster--

Premium is usually $0.20 more than regular no matter what the price of gas is. As the cost of gas goes up, premium becomes a better and better deal. At $1.00/gal it is 20% more than regular. At $2.00/gal is 10% more. $3 – 6.7%... $4 – 5%.

thats $3.20 a tank more for 16 gallons at any price--

Use premium gas. The engine can't take advantage of an octane level higher than what it was designed for, which is premium.

Porsche allows for the used of injector cleaners with techron but generally discourages cleaners or additives.
