Angry Avoid Roock Automotive At All Cost!!

now that i got my car back.. i want to warn all Atlanta peeps, AVOID ROOCK AUTOMOTIVE AT ALL COST!! fabian roock claims to be a porsche specialist, but doesn't know what he's doing. charged me several hundred to "look" at my car that took weeks and didn't diagnose the problem. then, he even installed the bumper on incorrectly and caused my spoiler to malfunction...costing me an additional $1K to fix. he wanted to replace a piece of the spoiler that he believed just failed, but luckily, i didn't let him. it wasn't even the piece that was damage. never communicated with me, but only replied to my calls after multiple attempts. and to top it off, when i finally was able to get my baby back, came to the shop to find the battery drained. he, of course, was not anywhere to be found, but his assistant couldn't even help me with a jump start. luckily, my ride had some cables and we had to do it ourselves. so, i want to warn all porsche drivers in atlanta, avoid this place like the plague!!!

Roock is legion amongst Porsche enthusiasts as being one of the most unscrupulously and dishonest "tuners" out there . For example, quite a few years ago, a friend of mine sent his newly purchased boxster to him to undergo a total conversion that included an engine swap, suspension upgrades, cosmetic changes ect... The experience that he had was nothing short of horrific !! The vehicle was never quite right. And after being in storage for years, he finally "unloaded" it. Interestingly, the same vehicle surfaced on this site a few months ago - now in the hands of a new owner. Apparently, he couldn't get the vehicle to perform right either, and in turn "unloaded" it as well. Unfortunately, you learned a lesson the hard way. Stay away from Roock !
