softop wear and tear

Hey guys....

I recently noticed that my softtop has light scuff marks or 'scratch" marks, as if someone had been putting sandpaper to my top...about 3inches long and 2 inches wide....

i thought it was vandalism at first, but i noticed that there are 2 "marks" that appear exactly parrallel to each otehr....they are located on the back of the top, about 4 inches from each side of the rear window...they are on exact same positions on each side of the rear window...

anyoone have any ideas..?? could it be that when I lower the top, the "canvas" comes in contact with the motor or mechanisms???any ideas or anyone with similar ...

will try and post pictures if I can...

Talking

Those are "fold marks" which I have seem on most Boxsters I have purchased.

Some colors seem to show these more than others and I assume the more the top is down, the more these tend to show up!
