Something Weird

I was washing my Boxster this weekend and I went into the house for an hour to take a break. I left the car unlocked. When I came back out the passenger side window was lowered about a little more than a third down. I wiped the car down before I went inside the house and the window was definitely shut.

Any idea on why that happened ? Electric glitch ?

thanks,

Dave

No idea. Are you SURE you did not lower it, perhaps to keep the temp inside cooler?

As a follow on, I can say that Porsche electronics can be vexing. I just picked up a 2001 911 coupe that is a sweet ride. However, the driver's window will work sometimes, and then again, sometimes no.

Ditto on the one touch. Have to have it checked out as it is beyond me to delve into Porsche electrics. Heady stuff.

Long live Bosch electrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is if it happens again, you will have to have your local dealer get out the meter!

Keep us posted.

Several times last year i returned to my parked boxster and found the drivers window halfway down. The dealer fixed it by changing the external door handle !? They never gave me a proper explanation and insisted they had never seen the problem before ... but it's been ok since
