Twin Turbo Boxster

Check out this link. It is a Boxster for sale in Australia. The car has been modified by Gemballa, apparently 500hp with 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 193+ mph!

The price is not even so exorbitant here, a 2002 S unmodified would be worth between 40 and 45k.

Would love to take it for a drive and witness it's personality. Gemballa is always a bit "over the top" when it comes to styling, but they wish to stand out from the crowd.

Price reduced to $105,000 USD.

If you bought it you could also enjoy 50% depreciation over the course of the next year or two and possibly get $50,000 USD for it.

I'd take a pass on this one.

Buy a roller from someone for next to nothing (considering the M96 blows so often it shouldn't be hard) and spend a fraction of that money on a Chevy LS1 and you'll be right there for a far less money... plus, the motor will be far more bullet proof.

The depreciation on a "Porvette" conversion will be high as well, but you'll still have piles of cash left over and the same permagrin on your face.

Then you'd have a Boxster that sounds like a Nascar...I'd rather mine sound like a GT3RS.
