Those scissor jacks are nice an you can get them for around $1250 if you pick it up. Try ebay or craigslist. Occasionally you find someone who is no loner needing his anymore.

With regard to air jacks, also keep in mind race suspension travel is greatly limited; wheels/hubs drop only a small amount when lifted, compared to a street suspension.

I think you might find that the wheels could still be touching the ground when the jacks are deployed.

My car is lowered and I've been using the two-by-four method for years on all my P-cars, even with a very low jack.

Thanks, the scissor lift solves the whole problem and would be cheaper than the air jacks anyway but I appreciate the advice.
