Box won't come out until late April...too much salt on the roads and still a lot of snow to melt. The posters from northern Chicago 'burbs, don't forget the PCA Tech session at Northstar in Barrington March 21...great way to "start" the driving season; especially those new to track and autocross events. There are always some brave souls who bring their P-cars out for the day!

Garage
Mind if Milwaukee region members show up for the free beer and pizza?

Well, I wound up getting my Box out! She started right up and drove great! I had a perma-smile the whole afternoon Saturday! Maybe after the fog clears out today I'll take her out again after work!

Did any other midwesterners notice a lot of nice cars on the road Saturday?

Although it was about to rain last night, I got my car out for fifteen minutes. Ran to the office to pick up something and shot right back home to the dry garage. My rear tires are worn just enough to turn them into ice skates when the roads are wet.

I haven't had my car out for a decent drive in well over a month. My free time and good weather have not collided in a way that produces drive time. Odd for Houston winters, really... this is actually the fun time of year to drive a boxster with the top down, or the top up due to the lack of blistering heat and humidity in the 90% range.

For just a few moments, I considered selling my car. But this drive reaffirmed my love for my Boxster in particular. I think I'll keep this car until someone takes away my driver's license due to old age.
