(With about 80% confidence) Porsche sold 11,505 Boxsters (both models) in 2001. Then using some other stats I found, here is my best guess.



Boxster 5033 (44%)
Boxster Tip 1678 (15%)
Boxster S 3953 (34%)
Boxster S Tip 841 (7%)
Total 11505


So to answer your question, I think there were 4794 Boxster Ss built in 2001.

However, I think that the most interesting stat that I found was that according to Porsche North America, the average Porsche owner's annual income is $384,210. We'll I’m off to ask my boss for a raise, because apparently I don’t make nearly as much money as the rest of you guys.
