It can be the regulator.

Links do not want to work. So go to the PCA site, tech session, and search under regulator.

Tool pants

Hi Toolpants,

Thanks for the site. That looks very accurate to what has happened in this case, however could this have been the problem all together? Did they miss-diagnose the problem in the first place and replace the relay when it was the regulator all along?
This is really ticking me off. I pay AU$250 for the relay + $200 for some bs silicon surround seal for this and + labour and now its the regulator 8 weeks later. If you ask me something stinks.

Could they have got it wrong? How do I protect myself from being ripped off in this case ?

cheers

Thumbs up

Chat with the service manager and explain (nicely) what happened and why you feel they should rebate back some or all of the costs of the previous repair. The worst they can say is no!
