+2. I'm not sure what the "Driver's Skills" event consists of, but all the PCA sponsored events I've been to have been excellent. Call them and ask what will be included. If it's for advanced drivers (doubtful) I'm sure they'll tell you. For probably the vast huge majority of us the car will always be better and more capable than we are, so any education you can get on how to drive it better will be money well spent. And it will be the most fun learning you can think of. You'll have a blast!

I gave my GF the keys to the Boxster for one of the PNWR skills day. They are entry level training days. She was nervous about hurting the car and had no experience or idea if she would like it. Now she has been to a number of big-track drivers ed events and loves it.

As an instructor I would highly recommend the skills day for novices.

You get to thrash your Box while only worrying about hitting cones. Its great!
