Yes I know, but this is cheaper in a way... with standard 19"s, LSD, lowered, etc.

$58 for a S with no option vs $61.2 MSRP fully loaded...

BUT no roof & no A/C ... chick in the passenger seat may not like that.

My question is whether my local PCA chapter will allow this car on the track. They don't allow cabs to be on the track with the top down. Will this one pass with the "inclement weather" cover on the car?

Is the direct injection motor still a M96?

I'm gonna salivate over whatever they bring out that is mid engine and doesn't have the M96 variant motor in it. (Well, that's not totally true. I won't be panting for a turbocharged four cylinder VW engine that is rumored to be added to the boxster lineup next year)

Porsche doesn't sell any cars with the M96 any more.

OK, I like 320 bhp - no problem

But otherwise this car looks like a "ricer's dream" to me
And pay $6,000 extra for NO radio NO A/C and no electric top mechanism?
I can do that MYSELF MUCH cheaper

agree - not a fan of the double wart bump, but you gotta like lighter and more hp...

I like how the intro makes it sound like the lack of cup holders is a brand new achievement in weight reduction...
