Thanks, Chris. I've looked at that set-up several times.

How/where did you mount the monitor?

mounted it to the right of the steering column and routed the USB style power supply cable "hidden" below the instrument cluster and to the "power plug" behind the lower console.
I like things to be clean don't like to plug anything into the cigarette lighter

I'll post a picture over the weekend, that might make it clearer

I have the same thing in my car, love it. Bought it on eBay for a better price.

I used the telephone handy plug that's under the plastic cover in front of the gear shift for unswitched power, switched power,and ground.

Yes, that's what I meant, I used that too to plug in the power
