It all boils down to a poor design problem. Why use plastic in the first place on a $45,000+ car? Folks in Detroit always used glass on their Mustangs and Chryslers.
had I known that the Boxsters were coming out with the glass window with the '03's, I would've waited a few more months for it: I bought my '02 in Feb. 2002, and I'm kicking myself every time I get out to "chop" silly.

it surprises me that the aftermarket world hasn't devised an add on for this.
1997-2002 is a heck of allot of Boxsters.
I'm thinking a spring loaded clip that pops the window into the correct crease?
I wish I were an engineer, I'd be a millionaire.
