I used the redline cocktail (2qts 75w-90 + 1 qt lightweight shock proof gear oil) and I noticed an improvement, particularly with the "popping out of 2nd" problem. Change was made at 90,000, currently I have 114,000. I mixed the fluid, pumped it in, and there was a bit left over.
Also, I changed the Dif fluid in my wife's Infiniti G35 for Royal Purple 75W-90, then used a RP product in my 1990 Ford Ranger 4x4 transmission and transfer case. Both vehicles seem smoother.
