I think it screams race car. Fiberglass and a gutted interior.

I agree with the race car comment...this would be a perfect platform for the spec Boxster series. You're going to gut the interior anyway, put a hardtop on it and so what if the body panels aren't perfect?

I dunno... looks to me like an owner who defaulted on the payments (I mean in today's economy there have to be at least a couple of us in that position)... and was pissed that the finance co. wouldn't extend any leniency.

Bash it up, park it on the street (pluasible deniability), report it - for the insurance, and leave it for the repo guys.... I mean the job is 'too' thorough.

That's what my money's on anyway...

YES! And with all of that body damage you would be pretty intimidating. Nobody would want to get close to you because the assumption would be that you drive like a mad man with no concern for body contact with other drivers.

My wife threatened to do that to my 911 last year, it's amazing how fast you can bring someone back from the dark side when the safty comes off. I hate to see any car suffer from the mistakes of the owner. Simply chicken $hit.

On second look, it looks like the owner was attempting to de-amber the headlights and got frustrated and a bit carried away.

It still would work for a track car; pound those dents out and it would look good from fifty feet. Nobody's ever failed tech for dents, at least not small ones. And I agree, it would definately get your competitor's attention.

Ouch!! That had to hurt!!! I think, actually, I know I would have been sick to my stomach if I ever saw that happen to my ride......

It was probably the last mod he purchased that made her do it!
