Yeah, it aint too hard. If your bored while changing the oil next time, or just bored in general, you can tap out the pollen filter. Technically you should change them every 15-30k miles, but I don't see why its necessary to change them unless they are clogged as hell. Plus they are like 15-20 bucks.

I did that too but it was boring and only took about 5 minutes. This one was pretty nasty and even had lots of hair(?).
