Try this, with the windows up (and doors closed) pull up on the handbrake, ensure that the "Park" light is on, then pull down the top latch... Do the windows drop down?

Yes, when i pull the latch down the windows do drop a few centimetres.

But unfortunately the roof doesnt follow suit.

any other suggestions??
