Nick and others of similar interest. I have found the book "Porsche Boxster Story" The entire development history by the Late Paul Frere to be invaluable in answering your type of questions. It covers the changes from model year to model year and is a great reference. It is published by Haynes in the UK, www.haynes.co.uk and its ISBN code is 1 84425 009 1 You can find it online at many of the book sellers. I highly recommend it.
