+1 The issues with these cars are more often mechanical or physical than electronic.
Also, there are so many proprietary Porsche codes readable only with a PST2 or Durametric software, that a simple OBDII scan will give an incomplete picture at best. Certainly not enough for me to give a prospective car a

Nay on such a scan alone.
Ideally, a proper PPI and a PST2 scan by a Porsche qualified mechanic would be the way to go.
