Tool Pants Registered User Join Date: May 2002 Location: San Jose Posts: 1,889	It can be done without the control unit. But the low Xenon beam will not rotate up to fill in with the high halogen beam. If you can connect 3 wires then you can hook up the control unit, so I do not understand why some people do not.
