Don't know if it's the same kind of adhesive or not, but if I were in your shoes I'd try the same technique used for removing the airbag warning stickers on the visors. I would think it would be safe on the dash, and seems like the least aggressive approach. (It won't just peel off?) If you're interested, check out:

If that doesn't work, you could up the ante and go with a stronger solvent, something like Goof Off. I'd have a damp rag ready---soon as it comes off, wipe it down to remove the solvent.

I think it'd be safe, but as they say, you could always try applying a little in an "inconspicuous area" to test how the dash material reacts.
