I've been playing with the idea of a HT for mine (01), as I have a split in the screen near the stitching and a seems a waste to spend the cash on replacing the whole top just for that, especially when it's not really an issue in the summer, so was looking for a HT for the winter months. I don't think the cost is too much of an issue when you compare it to the cost of the butt ugly OEM Porsche HT. How easy was it to fit?
