Nick,
I know how you feel. I couldn't drive my Boxster for 7 weeks because of surgery on my right shoulder. It was almost torture seeing it just sitting there in the garage every day. Once back in the driver's seat it felt like I was driving it for the first time and I realized, again, just how much I love driving this car.
I can barely raise my arm up over my head but I can shift. My shift from 4th to 5th is still a little slow, but who cares! I consider shifting part of my physical therapy.

Regards,
mike

I was away for a couple weeks traveling for the holiday and as I opened the garage door this morning I instantly got a warm fuzzy feeling. Like it was Christmas morning and Santa left me present.

My neighbohr from China came over to me the other day and he said "you know I talk to my wife and I tell her I have decided one day I'm going to buy a car like that young guy next door!!". I think I've lost count at the number of middle aged guys who have approached me and said "I could have had one of those cars but I let the oppourtunity pass me by" or "you know young man you have my dream car".
I only get that feeling when I see a Ferrari F430! LOL
I feel allot better knowing that the wait list for a first time Ferrari buyer is 4 years.
But I would never buy a new car.
