anyone have any ideas on adjusting the beam on these?
I think this happened with my car when I got my Carrera litronics. And I think it's because I didn't have the control unit installed. So what the shop did was found a donor 911 (Turbo actually) that had litronics, took them out, and put mine in. By doing that, it aimed the lights in to a neutral position (because they've got that motor inside that moves them up and down).

So find some one willing that has litronics -with the control unit installed. Take their lights out, put yours in. Start the car, turn on the lights... turn off the car/lights and now put them back in your car. Make sense? That might help.

Keep us posted.

That's an interesting solution, it's been a while but I thought the wiring was different from litronic w/ module to without.

For my car specifically there was some trickery involved with wiring -since I've got the 04 996 conversion front end. But for a 986 w/ litronics to a 986 w/o litronics, it should work without conflict I'm quite sure.
