There is a guy on RennTech who has a way to figure out radio codes based of the radio serial number. Post over there, or check the inside of the owners manual, or the sticker under the hood.

I just called my local Porsche dealer who does my servicing, gave him the radio model and serial number and he called back ten minutes later with the code. No charge and everyone was happy!

New guy here, and happy pwner of a 97 Boxster. I went to the dealer near where I bought the car and they obtained and programmed the radio code for free. They needed to partially remove the radio to see the serial number, then call a Porsche 1-800 number, get the code, then program it (... they wrote it down for me), and away I went.

Probably the last Porsche dealer freebie I'll get!!!!

....now I need to figure out how to set my radio station presets.....
