I think they suit your car pretty good, but as far as authentic Posche-design and style goes this is a completely opposite direction of all that they stand for and even though it actually looks quite OK, it's still a bit too 'pimped out Subaru' to my liking.

actually these are very similar in design to the original 1993 Boxster concept wheels, almost identical really...

I love your new wheels DJ. Are those 18s or 19s? I to just bought some new rims. I will be getting them back today from being powder coated to match my car. They will be Metallic Seal Grey. This is what they will look like. Very similar to yours. I to like the 5 spoke design.

DJ where did you get the extended lug bolts + spacers from? I can find plenty of 7mm spacers but not any 5/16"s(8mm) spacers......

I'm thinking of the same wheels sans black. Do you think that with 5/16"s spacer I'd have enough clearance for the larger S calipers?

Do you have any shots showing how much the rear tires stick out relative to the OEM ones w/o spacers?

hey, i actually got the wheel spacers form AutoZone, they were only $9.
the lug bolts have little spacers on them as well, so i took those out, and gave them to my dads friend to take to his machine shop, and he took out 5/16ths off of them, reainstalled them, and now they are as long as the stock ones length wise.
here is a picture of them, i had spares so these ar the ones, pretty rusted.

as for the caliper size, i am really not sure.
here is a thread where a guy bought the same wheels, but he has a S, maybe you can just PM him and see how it works out for him.
http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=16783

i think these shots can explain the sticking out part

so not that bad at all, i actually dont like wheels sticking out more than they need to.
hope that helps man, if not ask some more
