Those all make sense as "chick cars" especially the PT Cruiser which I have seen atleast 80% women in. The Mini Cooper is a bit baffllying but most guys go with the S. But I can see why the Boxster isn't on there, it isn't a "chick" car. In my area at least most women that want Porsches go with the Cayenne, mainy because there afraid of snow and aren't into the weekend car 'thing' like a lot of men.

I guess it differs from region to region, but in my area I have seen only one woman driving any year Boxster in the last 5 months I have had the car. But I have also only seen about 10 men driving Boxsters myself included. Porsches are scarce around here that's why I love the Boxster so much.

I looked at a Box recently. Couldn't find any reference to it being a chick car.

Have have to agree with you on that one. I dated 3 women that have driven the VW Beetle. One of which had daisy spoked wheels on it. The flowers in a vase inside the car in the brochures says it all.

In my area it seems mostly women drive 986's and men drive 987's. Kind of weird but, there's 3 mauve colored Boxster's around town all three driven by women.
