Top 10 "Chick" cars

this site ranks the top ten chick cars;

http://www.askmen.com/cars/car_lists_150/183b_car_list.html

In the comments, "CED" nominates the Porsche Boxster...............

Those all make sense as "chick cars" especially the PT Cruiser which I have seen atleast 80% women in. The Mini Cooper is a bit baffllying but most guys go with the S. But I can see why the Boxster isn't on there, it isn't a "chick" car. In my area at least most women that want Porsches go with the Cayenne, mainy because there afraid of snow and aren't into the weekend car 'thing' like a lot of men.

He probably drives a VW Beetle (which should be #1 BTW).

Have have to agree with you on that one. I dated 3 women that have driven the VW Beetle. One of which had daisy spoked wheels on it. The flowers in a vase inside the car in the brochures says it all. ;)

Evidenced by the Male:Female ratio on this site.

I'm guessing it's a site for men with higher estrogen levels. ;)

In my area it seems mostly women drive 986's and men drive 987's. Kind of weird but, there's 3 mauve colored Boxster's around town all three driven by women.

Damn. And I thought when I clicked on this, I'd see Top 10 chicks next to our cars. :D

If another group of women were asked about their favorite rides, say a group in Brentwood, CA or New York City, the results might be very different.

Boxsters are chick cars in my opinion. Women don't typically care about the handling or the performance like men do. They like the sleek look, the badge and the fact that it's a convertible.

This is what makes our cars so special. Boxster have curb appeal AND are totally forgiving on a twisty road and work for the person who likes to cruise or the person who likes to work the car hard. I won't say which is which (men or women) because that would be sexist and my wife is looking over my shoulder as I write this!

I guess it differs from region to region, but in my area I have seen only one woman driving any year Boxster in the last 5 months I have had the car. But I have also only seen about 10 men driving Boxsters myself included. Porsches are scarce around here that's why I love the Boxster so much.

I looked at a Box recently. Couldn't find any reference to it being a chick car.

:D
