Here is a list of the Boxster weight

Does that 250lbs. account for you,the driver?

In the tables I posted above, you'll see that the weight of my car is 3465. That weight includes me, the passenger, and ~3/4 tank of gas. Without me, my car weighs 3,110 (includes ~3/4 tank of gas). With me, the car is 3,290.
If you look at the table you linked to, the curb weight for a 2000 Boxster S is 2855.
For accurate results, all weight must be accounted for.

@ J-RAD,
What type of place would I go to see how much my Boxster weights?
Should I go to one of the local semi-truck weight in spots and slide the guy some $ if you know what I mean?

Well, you could try that I suppose.
Most race tracks also have scales. In my case, I happen to have a friend that builds firetrucks and his company has a DOT scale that we used. If I didn't have that option I would've used the scales at the track.

I think the sub 6 time is very plausible, I pulled 0-60 with a gtech of under 6 and confirmed it with a buddys radar gun from his police cruiser and a stop watch.
I actually felt the gtech was more accurate.
My main use of the gtech was to derive baseline numbers before I started modding the car. If I pull a base line of 5.9 then run a 5.1 even if the numbers are not exact it is still a .8sec improvement. I know there are variations but a gtech is better than a butt dyno.
Also, just to throw more fire on the flame. my wheel horsepower numbers on the gtech matched exactly what a dyno showed the same day.
In my opinion for someone doing performance mods a gtech is a great tool, it does not replace a dyno but its a great tool.

Acceleration numbers from the G-Tech aren't dependent on the weight logged. You can enter 10 pounds and it will still report the same acceleration numbers.
