Horn is honking with hard braking.

If I hit the brakes hard, the horn will honk. I tested it by tapping on the horn pad and it only takes a touch to make the horn go off so I think the force of the horn pad pushing when I brake hard is causing the problem.

Anyone else ever had this problem or have any suggestions on how to make the horn pad move out a little so it doesn't go off so easily?

TIA!
