In general, an 11 inch wheel has both inner and outer clearance problems . Attempting the manipulate the offset merely exacerbates the problem in either direction. I suppose in cases where a custom wide-body was going to be used, a person could resort to a high offset wheel, along with spacers, in order to get it far enough away from the strut and out toward the extended fender line.
