What is the typical price for a Roadforce Hunter balancing? I've been quoted $50 at one shop, and as much as $100 at another shop... What do you guys normally pay for this?

when i replaced my rear tires i changed my front ones too and the front ones were used for 3 months on a mercedes. I think the front may be out of round. if this is the problem how can it be fixed? Im gonna take my car to the tire shop next week.

Steering Wheel Shaking at 65+

I just bought a 2003 Boxster which drove ok until I hit 65+ mph and the steering wheel shook. I had the front wheels balanced twice and put new front tires and it still shook. I have Hankook Ventus Sport K104 235/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the back. The mechanic said that Hankook are cheap tires and are the cause of the shaking, but he was wrong! These tires stick to the road! Today I took my boxster in to America's Tire Co to get a Road Force Balance on the front tires. Big difference... The car drives like a Porsche should. It cost $20.00 per wheel. If the wheel has to be dismounted there is an additional $7.00 per wheel.

Hi,

It's amazing to me that anyone would even consider driving their car without all the Lug Nuts in place, properly torqued... HELLO - They Hold The Wheels On!

Happy Motoring!... Jim

Hey Jim! Good to see you back around. I thought we'd lost you for good to that scooter!
