I would suggest moving on. When you fix it all up and you are $17K in to the project, you will still have a box with 120K miles on it.

You can do better.

i bought my 98 with 58k, and hardtop, and some interior upgrades like knob and e-brake handle for $9600.....so i would say thats not a good deal in my opinion.

anyone beat this deal?

wow, this place is amazing.

Thank you for all your help. Hopefully sometime in the near near future i can truly consider myself a fellow member. Now i just need to find that perfect boxster for me...

I happen to know this car, and yes, it's a piece of poop (other than its very nice TechArt wheels and snazzy new upholstery).

dude...dj, where did u get that deal on the box...was the person that sold it to u on crack? it must be the color, they just wanted to get rid of it cuz it was ugly hahaha jk :-)

the lowest ive seen 98/99 boxsters go with no problems and decent miles was about 12-13k
