I agree, that UK top is the perfect compromise hardtop between stock and the Zeintec.

I talked with Zeintec-USA and they would provide a discount on a group order. How much of a discount depends on how many are being ordered obviously. I personally don't think it would get down to the $2500-$3000 range. I will email brucelee to see how we can best organize this.

You might be able to get 4-6 people to commit to buy them, so the discount probably wouldn't be to big. Just start a poll thread to guage interest then call up Zeintech and ask what the discount would be for however many tops. Personally, I think the zeintop is making the Boxster what it isn't, perhaps "poser," is the word I am looking for.

Not another poser thread! haha

I really don't think its bad. I must confess, I am in love with the lines of the cayman. But, I do not think anyone would confuse the two cars. I look at it this way.. If porsche recognized the gorgeous lines of this hardtop and put it into production, it's ok by me. If someone bought a brand new 987 and this top to get the look he likes for 300 days of the year, and enjoy spring and fall with the convertible would it still be poser? He can afford the cayman because he just spent the difference for a top, but still wants the boxster for those perfect weather weeks.

We look at our P-cars everyday, but 99.9% of drivers on the road don't know what a Cayman vs. Carerra vs. Targa vs. Boxster is. Nor do they care. This is a mod that would make me happy, and noone else.

EDIT: I would be in for a top.
