Agreed. You have to do what I do. Never sell them.

Man I agree! When I picked up my Boxster they had a Cayman S. I had never seen one, not even a picture. I know the 911 of various years are most peoples prize, but I would rather have one of these one day.

I inquired about the Zeintec top early on so I get emails from them. The last one was the announcement the firt U.S. top was installed and the price dropped from $4999 to $4350..plus freight.

I would take one for $2500 to $3000 but would still have think hard due to the removal of the trunk and clamshell.

Yes and everytime you want to put the top down, not only do you have to remove the hardtop, you have reinstall the clam shell and trunk lid.

I've posted this several times as this has come up. The company in Europe called Stuttgart makes a top that is the same as the Zeintop but allows you to keep the factory trunk lid on at ALL TIMES and does not require you to remove it when you want to put your top down, it works just like the Porsche factory hard-top. Here is a picture of the 2 hardtops next to each other. You can see how one is more elongated than the other.

This top IS the best solution for keeping your trunk and having the look of the Zientop. I think they may have ripped them off on the desing. Either that, or they are owned by the same company. Here is a side view of the Stuttgart Top.

That would look great with the Z-Art body kit....but it would probably cost 70% of the vehicle.

I agree DJ, that's why I got the hardtop recently. I like the option of the convertable, just not the look. From now on, it's hardtop or no top. The softtop will only be for pop up showers.

The Stuttgart top looks great, solves the transition to topless issue. The downside...COST! I talked to them and the current cost is close to 6k by the time you get it imported.

$6K is about what I remember as well for the Stuttgart top. Crap, I paid less than half that for the factory one installed!! I did have my share of problems, however!

Another top, this one is made in England, as I recall. Not too pleasing to the eyes.

That's the EXACT same one as the Stuttgart one. No different, one company must be a vendor, most likely Stuttgart.

Does anyone have a Zeintop? or has anyone ever ordered or seen any of Zeintec's other products? I'm looking for more info on the quality of the products and feedback on the company. Thanks.

A lot of people are ordering them in the UK like this. I love it. White has been a no-no for so long over here and is now super popular again for "sports' cars.

I have been out in a cayman with a PSS9 and LSD update and it goes like hell.

Maybe we could put together a group buy with zeintop. I am sure they would like to get their name out, and what better way than with forums/porsche clubs? I would do one for 2500-3000 also.

I emailed them about the tops about 3 weeks ago and they take a 50% deposit, then ship the top from over-seas. I do not think US production is in full force yet (if ever), and our dollar goes nowhere over-seas.
