take the intake cover off from the side of the car(one screw holding it on the top, and 2-3 clips on the side), pull the tube(snorkel). thats all.

The only real trouble I had was removing the intake grill for the first time. It seems that all the directions help but until you do it for the first time it is a real bear... It may be that because of the tight fit that each car may be a little different than the next one. Once the single screw is removed I had one heck of a time working that trim piece out... Once that is removed its pretty much smooth sailing. Hint: Don't even think of using anything that might scratch the paint when removing the trim piece because you will...

I did this yesterday, used the directions on PBB, it took me 5 min and wow what a nice sound I hear from my S now..
