I Finally Waxed It!
After sitting in the garage covered in dust for over a month, I finally took it out and cleaned it today!

Looks great! When you look at it in the sun can you see any swirl marks? i am wondering because I have a new 2007 and it appears that I already have swirl marks.
Thanks

Yes, there are swirl marks. I thought this was normal?

Just put another 5500 miles on our Boxster by driving it round trip to the Parade. It's been in the last 7 Parades including the Concours Paddock, but I have yet to wax it!!!

swirls are "normal" but for many, not acceptable. My black boxster had some serious swirls and what looked like scratches and a good buff with Menzerna products followed by some Klasse all in one, then a carnauba wax on top of that and there are no swirl marks or scratches.
It's all in what you use and how you apply it. Wax alone probably won't get that new car shine.

One interesting thing is after my stereo died the new one they installed sounds a lot better. It is suppose to be the same unit but I am wondering if Porsche is quietly upgrading them without admitting that the original sucked.

If you drive a motorcycle it is required to wear a vest with the plate numbers in large letters on your back. This rule is to prevent situations where two guys drive up on a motocycle and the one on the back pulls out a gun, bang-bang-bang, and takes off.

Swirls are "normal" but if you're into detailing you shouldn't have any. Use a good polishing compound, particularly one that diminishes as you polish. Then cover with a good sealant, then if you want that deep shine, top it with carnauba. They key is to polish the paint smooth after claying it to clean it, then seal and protect the paint.
I personally am a big fan of the 3M products, Poor Boys, Zaino, and especially Klasse All in One.

Car looks great. Although I do have to say I'm really not a fan of the stock 17" wheels, you should upgrade those
And I miss the pics of your helpers too.
