I don't know that I'd be so cavalier about resale... I wouldn't underestimate the amount of potential buyers this could possbily eliminate.

Even moderately customized cars don't sell for what the seller usually feels they're worth. In fact, the price point on a customized vehicle will probably have to be lower than the same car in stock condition. (Of course that can depend of the types of mods.)

Additionally, I'm sure your mindset is different right now because you may not have intentions of selling the car anytime soon. When you are motivated to sell, I'd be willing to bet your mindset will be different. Know what I'm sayin'?
