Car looks great. Is your license plate really just "1"?

Can you post a pic of your instrument dials?

That looks really cool, but I agree why add the second badge on the back?

Rs 47 lakh and if my calculations are correct, that's ~$115k US$ - after a 112% import duty!

Choose options carefully!

Where did you get $155k from, the base car is $55k, so if you add the 112% import duty, thats $61,600 + shipping and other charges.
So maybe $70k total which would be 2,844,141.069 Rs

Huh?

112% of $55000 is $61600

$ 55000 - Base
$ 61600 - Duty
----------
$116600

Agreed, the Porsche badge on the rear looks tacky.

Sweet sweet ride but having a Porsche crest in the rear trunk is redundant. The Boxster S will suffice.

Oh, sorry I thought it was the base price plus 12% not the price plus 112%. And the 155K was a typo. That is ridiculously high to import a car. Just high a drug dealer to smuggle the car into India for you.

I didn't get $155k, I got $115k from this 2004 Hindu Business Line article, listing the price at Rs 47 lakh for the 'S'. Plug that into a curency converter and you get:

4,700,000 Indian Rupee = 114,704 US Dollar

That's allot of Rupeeees.

I guess you are considered a billionaire driving around in those kind of wheels in a country where so many will never have any car let alone one most Americans will never own.

The Badge on the rear is something I have never seen before. It's not so bad but maybe by itself would be better.
