I hear ya man, but I'm happy with it right now... even getting it was a stretch for me, so I am not about to go dumping money on it that I dont have to.
I would like... new wheels... new hood (bc of a dent) ... and repaint bumper (lots of chips)... but none of that is happening soon .. maybe never

The only other time I have seen them was on the loaner car from our local Pcar dealer a few years back.
Welcome to the group Hugh. I must agree with the others that you need to at least get some 17's when the budget allows. They're cheap.

your boxster logo appears to be very high on the trunk, dont you think?
*edit: just saw your post about the ding (those are usually from stuff flying inside the trunk and hitting the inside of it, i have like 3 on my trunk)

Welcome. I have to agree with other members.
Top of your list "TO DO" New Wheels - when you have the cash available.
Enjoy it

haha, mine came with those too, 16" stockies... then I got rid of em right away lol...though when they were on, the car did accelerate much quicker than with the 18s on

No, no, no. I think the first mod should be -
a new front license plate.
I think the car (and the wheels) look great.....

That's a classic Hugh. Great looking car. I wouldn't change a thing. I'd keep it as true to it's original condition as I could.

Funny enough I received a set of those rims with AVS S1's as spares when I bought my '02S a couple of months ago. Perhaps they were used for AutoX or something. I was wondering if they even fit over S brakes?
