Thanks for the info, bmuss. If I can't get them out myself I'll give your guy a call. I've got a daily driver so I wouldn't mind dropping her off for a few days. She could hang out with other Porsches for once.

Jinnijazz, what all is involved in taking them off?

Chills, to take out the roll bars also involves partially removing the top. It is a big deal. They usually don't have to remove the seats, they just run them forward to make room.

Need two people because of the top has to be removed as bmussatti said.
But again the famous Trent Carter in PPBB did it all by himself if I remember correctly.
If the idea of removing top scares you off, I even saw some people in PPBB paint them without removing - very good masking - I may have the picture somewhere.

Huh... it sounds pretty involved. Not something I'd want to try while she's still under warranty.

I think when its time I'll head over to Bill's guy and have him do it. Green rollbars are on my list, but they are below things like a new exhaust.

Oh that bites! I should have taken the $535 headrest option. How much did you guys spend to do it yourself?
