I have the oem 4 channel amp from my 00. I think they are the same. No issues, just went with a different setup. Let me know if you're interested.

Don't think they're the same as 2003 cars are MOST Bus cars. Not sure if the amp is part of the MOST chain but the head unit certainly is.

Thank you. The 00 amplifier will not work in a 03.

I may have one available in one of my '04s. Do you know which part number you need? Which option code your car has? It looks like M680 is Bose and M490 is Harmann. I don't know what's compatible across the part numbers.




***Edit*** I just looked at what I have and they are both the same Bose MOST/9x6 unit:

Mine is a 996.645.331.01 made by Becker. I have attached a photo of my connectors. I did a quick search about the differences between the 01 and 02 but it is going to take more time than I have today. I will let you know what I find.

My part number is 996.645.331.01 and the Manufacturer is Becker. The option code is 490.

I found a 996.645.331.01 at used auto parts you need. Now wait a couple days and hope it solves my problem.
