ISO: Factory midpipes with cats

Looking for the factory mid pipes with cats for my 2001 2.7l Boxster.

Also.. if anyone has experience using only mid pipe cats to pass emissions I am interested

Long story short, I lived previously in a county where we didn't have to pass emissions at all to renew tabs, and I then moved to a county where I have to pass.

I currently have the full TopSpeedAuto exhaust, from the headers to the muffler.

I figure the easiest swap is the midpipes, then I'll extend the O2 wires to the rear of those cats.

I have a pair removed from a 2004 2.7 @ about 69K miles. DM me and we can chat.
Note I am in Northern California. Not sure the shipping will make the cost worth it...anyways we can chat....:-)

Hey PorscheFan5, I sent you a private message but it's not showing up in my sent folder. If you don't receive it, you can send me an email at (myusername)@gmail.com and we can talk prices on those mid pipes.

Hey fofo, if you're still looking let me know. I have the pair from my 00 986 that I pulled around 40k miles. No issues, just went with new exhaust setup.

I am not sure 2001 will fit post 2003 as they changed some things. Muffler is different. Engine is mapped different and I found different part numbers.

Still looking. Could you send me pictures of the midpipes? Either in a private message or my email, which is "myusername"@gmail.com.

I appreciate the reply.

I appreciate the insight. I figured all the 2.7l would fit, but I'm not surprised Porsche changed things around.

Good to know. Appreciate the insight.

I just had to move from a county that didn't require emissions to one that does..

Btw I want to check myself here to see if this plan will work.

The goal is to get the car to pass my new home county's emissions. I get the occasional P0139 CEL that I clear using my scangauge. The scangauge also reports that the car is in the "Not Ready" state so I know it will currently not pass. I have O2 spoofers on the rear O2 sensors already which reduce the frequency of the CEL, but can't get me to the "Ready" state afaik.

So I currently have TopSpeedAuto headers, midpipes, and muffler. I have no cats. Yes I recognize this is not environmentally friendly, and in hindsight the header swap was not worth the hassle, but here we are.

I used to live in a county that did not require emissions. I now live in a county that does. I have clean tags for now, but they expire later this year. I have a daily driver so I am not in a rush.

My plan is to install the factory midpipes back in, then wire the rear header O2 sensor to the bung behind the cat in the factory midpipe.

I am now realizing that I don't remember if the midpipes have rear O2 bungs..

Any insight/comments are appreciated.

I definitely should've kept my stock headers and cats but that was 2 moves ago and I didn't plan on leaving the state at the time so it wasn't a concern.
