For Sale - Maytag's Hidden Trailer Hitch & Bumper Cover

Hey y'all:
some of you may have followed the saga when I built this so I could tow a small trailer with tires and tools to the racetrack with me.
Well, I'm parting the car now, and this is up for sale.

This thing is tried, tested, etc. I've used it to tow about 1200lbs. The limiting factor is only the OEM bumper mounts, and what they'd take before they separate. (this is obviously the case with ANY of the 986 hitch setups)

You can see that this is easy-enough to duplicate. You're welcome to. Or you can buy mine, done, and keep yours to put back to stock if you ever want to.
Of course I'd love to sell the rear 'S' bumper with it. It's modified already to work with the hitch (hole cut, and the hinged plate-holder attached). But you don't HAVE to buy the cover. I'd actually prefer to keep the ball mount and let you get your own, because I'll keep using this on many other vehicles. But you'll need to buy the same style that locks from the front.

Make me a fair offer. IF I were throwing out a price that I think is fair, I'd be thinking in the $150 range for the impact bar / hitch and another $150 for the bumper cover (that's a wrap on it, and the bumper is in need of paint underneath). If you absolutely MUST have my ball-mount and ball, then add another $150 to that.
All of this is PLUS SHIPPING.

That is exactly how I did mine. Used it for years very easy to do and works great.

I think you can probably see the steel angle I thru-bolted at the "leverage" points, and then welded the receiver tube to them. Is that what you did as well?

What is the ball mount so much $$? Is it custom?

Well it's kind of a unique application, where you cannot access the pin from behind. So you have to have a drawbar of the type you see, with a locking mechanism that's operated from the front.
This one is from a company called fastway. They are about $125, without a ball. There may be others out there, but this one is very high quality and I wouldn't mind keeping it.
In fact, if I sell this, I will buy another one exactly like it. Haha
