3.2L '04 986 S motor for sale - 87k miles
Guys:
please help save me from having to go to ebay on this? haha
I would love to make someone a good deal on a good motor. Ebay prices on a 3.2L with less than 100k miles are $4k plus. I don't need that much out of it. I'm happy to palletize and ship (I hope I can learn something from the two transmissions I just shipped..... :gulp: haha)
Tell your friends, will y'all?
3.2L from an '04 S, had 82k on it when I pulled it, I've done 5k more on it since then. Before I pulled it, I did compression test, read cam variance numbers and split the oil filter; all looked really healthy. I then sent a sample from the first oil-change to blackstone who gave it a thumbs-up.
NO IMS or RMS has been done, and no indication you'd need to.
Located in greater Salt Lake City area.

Geez Bart, being Canadian you gotta know the ‘L’ in 3.2L stands for litre. Just like the 3L bags of milk you get in Ontario.

LOL.
I knew it was a 3.2 liter, wasn't even thinking of that...
Thought it was a different model/version of the 3.2.

If the other guy backs out I would appreciate being next in line.
Thanks Bart

Thanks Bart. I'm afraid this deal is done.
But I'm glad he'll realize he jumped at the right time! Haha.
Honestly, he's been a pleasure to do business with.

If you sold this engine to a guy in Virginia, he is selling it again. He didn't realize it didn't fit his 2002 Boxster S.
Anyone who is still interested in it, PM me and I can forward you his for sale post.
