WTB: Door sill mini umbrella w/ case

After having the seats recovered back in October, I discovered the door sill umbrella is missing - but only now.
Looking for a good replacement

Thanks. I looked at their ad. I was going to try the members here first and see if someone has one that is gathering dust.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I've never had a boxster come in with one. I'll probably keep the first one I get.

Thanks for that; Boxster, Caymans, and some Cararras have the recess in the passenger door sill for the umbrella in its case. My '98 came with one from the dealer |

A $6 umbrella will cause your IMS to fail. You HAVE to use a Porsche umbrella to keep your car running properly!

Better than paying $84.50 plus shipping for the official Porsche branded one!

The $6 umbrella fits, but still no fitted case.

True, no fitted case to slow down the user from opening the umbrella when needed, BUT there is a snack tray for when passengers are hungry! And honestly, that Porsche umbrella is nice and all, but for that money, they should really put some PORSCHE lettering or a crest on the fitted cover to jazz it up a bit. IMO, it looks too plain the way it is when stowed.

I use a cheap, drugstore black umbrella with a black case and I applied a white Porsche brake caliper decal. Looks great, but not sure how long the decal will hold up.

Maybe the seller is the guy who recovered the original poster's seats.
