02 Boxster S 3.2 motor

Let me give the run down, I bought a wrecked car with heavy front end damage I wasnt able to start it due to missing parts. Pulled the motor checked it over and found it had good compression on 4 cyls and no compression on 2 cyls after looking into it further it appears to have the IMS bearing failure. Now how this car ran good enough to wreck fairly hard and have this problem I have no idea.
But anyway its a mostly complete motor with accessories, it is missing the throttle body.
Looking for $1000 and buyer pays shipping or picks up, may be able to meet part way around Ohio area.

I have heard stories of unscrupulous storage lots switching out parts. If the engine numbers don't match the chassis, that's fraud

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH Boxster ENGINE NUMBERS. Car documents say engine code is;
M962265Y08601-10 as does the service book plus V5. It's a UK 2000 Boxster 2.7 BUT...The number stamped on the engine says; M96/2167110632 - Based on the fact that the service record shows no replacement engine and the code is badly stamped on the engine does anyone please know what is in my car? I had decoded it as a 3.2 2001 series 7...
