What mig wire are you using ? Does welding SS need special wire/gas ? I have a mig but never welded stainless.

You can use a regular mig. I do. There is a process for SS which requires special gas and wire, but for this its not absolutely necessary. Its just that your welds won't be totaly stainless, but they will be about half stainless. Its really pretty easy to weld.

Id just weld them the old school way, with an acetylene torch and some old metal coat hangers

Are you making any more of these?
