tools needed
I failed to mention that one will need a set of radio removal tools. They're cheap, and save a lot of headaches. In my case, however, even with the proper tools at hand, the radio was very hard to get out, it got stuck on some minor corrosion ( or dried cleaning agent) and just about made me get a chisel....but then it did let go suddenly, accompanied by a painful collision of my left hand with the wiper stalk. I am bilingual, so the cacophony of swear words surely would have been comical if broadcast.
